 1. When you are in love and get hurt, it's like a cut...it will heal, but there will always be a scar.
How true, you can love someone so much that it hurts. No matter what when the trust is broken or you get hurt, true, you can heal. You can can grow and forgive, but can you truly forget? Not with an almost open scar you can't
2. It hurts the most when you actually feel your heart breaking
Nothing in the world hurts more than when your own heart breaks. Its as if the whole entire world is crashing down around you and you have absolutley no idea what so ever what to do. You become blinded by rage, anger, sadness, hurt. Everything becomes a mess.
3. The ones that you love the most are usually the ones that hurt you the most.
How unbelievably twisted yet true. You believe that you are the strong and independent one when you let that one person in. You believe that everything will always be fine. How could this one person ever hurt me>? The lucky few that get in and find there ways to you are the ones that hurt you the most because they are the closest. At the end you are angry at the person for hurting you and you get angry at yourself for giving into that weak moment.
 4. I guess when your heart gets broken, you begin to see the cracks in everything."
When everything is going good and your world is great, you somehow refuse to see the bad. Why screw things up when they don't need to be? But when you are hitting rock bottom, it's almost impossible to not see the bad on everything else.
5. Hearts are not had as a gift, but hearts are earned...
I like the quote yet i totally disagree with this. I mean it ought to be true but more than half the time when are hearts really earned? If hearts were earned, there would be so much less heartache. When you meet someone it's as if the fireworks go off and you, yourself, is as willing as anything to hand your heart over to this complete stranger who later on....9 out of 10 times will take that strong gift and stomp on it.

The trick. . .is to find the balance between the bright colors of humor and the serious issues of identity, self-loathing, and the possibility for intimacy and love when it seems no longer possible or, sadder yet, no longer necessary.
It is in dialogue with pain that many beautiful things acquire their value. Acquaintance with grief turns out to be one of the more unusual prerequisites of architectural appreciation. We might, quite aside from all other requirements, need to be a little sad before buildings can properly touch us.
Unsoundly. They toss and turn, trying to understand the mystery of the living. They know so little about what it's like to fill a new prescription for glasses and suddenly see the world again, with a mixture of disappointment and gratitude ... Also, they don't dream. For this reason, they have one less thing to talk about. In a backward way, when they wake up they feel as if there is something they are forgetting to tell each other. There is disagreement among the angels as to whether this is a result of something vestigial, or whether it is the result of the empathy they feel for the Living, so powerful it sometimes makes them weep. In general, they fall into these two camps on the subject of dreams. Even among the angels, there is the sadness of division.
In the silence, she felt the past and the present shift and mix, but that was a mirage. There was no way to comfort the lost boy he'd been back then.
But she had the grown male.
She had him right in her arms, and for a brief moment of whimsy, she imagined that she was never, ever going to let him go.
Or perhaps is is that time doesn't heal wounds at all, perhaps that is the biggest lie of them all, and instead what happens is that each wound penetrates the body deeper and deeper until one day you find that the sheer geography of your bones - the angle of your hips, the sharpness of your shoulders, as well as the luster of your eyes, the texture of your skin, the openness of your smile - has collapsed under the weight of your griefs.
So as a seventh grader, no, you weren't friends with people you didn't like. But sometimes you also weren't friends with people you did like, which was complicated, and which didn't make any sense if you tried to explain it. Sometimes things just changed. That's where the sadness came in.
You know all that sympathy that you feel for an abused child who suffers without a good mom or dad to love and care for them? Well, they don't stay children forever. No one magically becomes an adult the day they turn eighteen. Some people grow up sooner, many grow up later. Some never really do. But just remember that some people in this world are older versions of those same kids we cry for
